HOWTO: How do I use channels and playlists

HOW DO I USE CHANNELS & PLAYLISTS?

Channels are useful as they allow you to subscribe to certain types of content which might be specifically useful to the kids you have in your school, class or group. You will be notified when new content has been added to channels you’re subscribed to, meaning you’ll never miss great new content.

CHANNELS

To access Channels:

On the BTM Active app - select My Subscriptions (first carousel on home page) or Subscriptions (in the main menu along the bottom of the screen) 

On the web browser – select Channels (in the main menu along the top of the screen)

To subscribe to a Channel:

On the BTM Active app - select Explore (in the main menu along the bottom of the screen), then Channels, and choose from the list. If you want to subscribe to a channel, simply select Subscribe.

On the web browser - select Channels (in the main menu along the top of the screen) and choose from the list. If you want to subscribe to a channel, select the subscribe button.

PLAYLISTS

Playlists Create your own personal playlists and add videos to play later.

Note: Playlists are only available using the website

To create a personal Playlist:

Browse to the media that you would like to add to a playlist.

Select the “Add to Playlist" option under the Actions dropdown.

To create a personal Playlist:

1. Browse to the media that you would like to add to a playlist.
2. Select the “Add to Playlist" option under the Actions dropdown.
3. Enter a Name and Description and click "Create”.
4. You can now add videos to this playlist.
5. After you create a playlist, it appears on the My Playlists page where you can preview it, edit the sequence of media, select design of playlist, and grab the embed code.

Playlists are great for storing your favourite videos all in one place so they’re easily accessible. They are only available when using the website.

To add a video to a playlist:

Click a video thumbnail or title.

• Select Add to Playlists from the Actions dropdown.
• Check the playlists you want to add the media to or create a new playlist.
• The media is added to the new playlist.
